V dnešním krátkém článku napíšu něco o volání přes internet zdarma, konkrétně pomocí instatního komunikátoru ICQ.

Na úvod musím říct, že telefonování přes ICQ se od verze ICQ 6 dočkalo velkých změn. Dříve totiž v ICQ bývala pouze takzvaná Vysílačka. Během hovoru mohla mluvit vždycky jedna strana, a to ještě při tom musel dotyčný držet patřičnou klávesu – tuším, že to byl mezerník. Proto také v této době získal daleko větší oblibu program Skype, díky němuž mohli uživatelé komunikovat/telefonovat on-line.

I přes změny ve verzi ICQ 6 si spousta uživatelů zvykla používat spíše Skype, který byl přímo pro telefonování stvořen. Nicméně pokud máte někdy problém s telefonováním na Skypu (např. problémy s výpadky z důvodu pomalého připojení k internetu) a obě strany mají též komunikátor ICQ, můžete vyzkoušet ICQ jako alternativu k programu Skype.

Já jsem zkoušel udělat malý test: Hovor i videohovor přes program skype a přes program icq. Kvalita zvuku v ICQ mě mile překvapila, kvalita obrazu také nebyla nejhorší. Jen je třeba dodat, že v ICQ naleznete volání pod ikonkou Hlasová konverzace a videohovor jednoduše pod ikonkou Videokonverzace přímo v okně konverzace (nad přijetými zprávami nahoře).

Na závěr musím říct, že telefonování přes ICQ doporučuji. Jen si musíte dát pozor, aby druhá strana měla též komunikátor ICQ – pokud používají jiný komunikátor (například QIP), bohužel si moc nepoklábosíte.
